Begun in 2000 as a pilot program in a 24-bed combined ICU, CCU, ED, and telemetry unit, family-centered care became the model of patient care in all nursing units (medical?surgical, maternal? child) and all departments (respiratory, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and admitting) by 2001. %8 03/2006
