Abstract:

The article discusses the author's experience on holistic nursing offered to her. She cites the valuable effort of her nurse's presence, desire to be with patients in time of need as her nurse guided her through the difficulties of her treatment. She emphasizes that her nurse's presence enhanced her belief of importance, and nourished the need for self-esteem. She believes that there is energy present between them that contribute to the quality of energy in the healing environment.
